Innovación y toma de decisiones en la administración educativa: políticas para el cambio en la formación universitaria

This article analyzes the role of innovation in strategic decision-making within educational administration, with an emphasis on its relationship with policies for change in higher education. Through a literature review, the dynamics influencing the ability of higher education institutions to adapt to contemporary challenges were explored, highlighting trends such as the integration of digital technologies, the promotion of participatory governance models, internationalization, equity in access, and sustainability. These dynamics reflect the need for more flexible and innovative administrative approaches that enable universities to effectively respond to social, economic, and technological demands. The analysis reveals that while educational policies provide clear guidelines for promoting institutional transformation, their success depends on strategic management that integrates innovation and collaboration among diverse stakeholders. This approach strengthens institutions' capacity to lead change, foster sustainable practices, and ensure inclusive and quality academic education. This study underscores the importance of adopting dynamic administrative models that balance local and global demands in a constantly evolving environment.
