Una mirada a las transformaciones institucionales tras los acuerdos de paz desde el paradigma de la Reforma del Sector de Seguridad (RSS). Estudio de caso de Irlanda del Norte tras el Acuerdo de Viernes Santo de 1998

The following article aims to create an analytical approach to the institutional transformation after the Peace Agreements from the RSS (Social Sector Reform) paradigm. Prioritizing the violence period and the political transformation in the late xx century, this paper is focused in the study of Northern Ireland after the Holy Friday Agreement of 1998. Henceforth, the article is divided into the following topics; 1) Introduction to the study case; 2) “The Troubles” or the description of the Northern Ireland conflict; 3) the Peace Agreement of 1998, and 4) the main institutional changes promoted after the Peace Agreement from the RSS paradigm.
