The USR focuses on the training of integral students with ethical grounds and involves values of solidarity and sustainable development. Also, it encourages students to contribute in the development and progress of the country. The intervention in management, teaching, researching and extension processes links and supports the creation of strategic alliances among groups of interest –based on social programs which produces shared learning results– because it offers universities the opportunity to qualify and improve their academic management of new knowledge. This takes place when transmitted in classrooms, and in the exercise of applied research. usr also supports and strengthens the generation of scientific knowledge, ethical rationality and the human values, by the creation of new research and developing synergies between training, research and social participation
