This review paper presents the results of a research about the new scenarios of action that were opened for the sports journalist with the transformation of the media and digital convergence. Methodologically, the qualitative method was assumed for describing and interpreting the phenomenon. Also, a bibliographic review on books, scientific articles and databases was conducted on the following categories of study: sports journalism, technological convergence and journalistic contents and routines. Preliminary approach shows that so far there has been conducted only a few number of research on the subject in a global level and even less in Colombia.
