This article presents a review on the panorama of the countries in Latin America that bet on radio as an agent of popular transformation. It is focused on exposing the experiences of stations with inclusion projects for people with disabilities. The methodology used was bibliographic review of a documentary type. The first section presents the historical relationship of radio and communication as an agent of social change. Later on, the connection between communication and disability is showed, presenting examples from the Latin American context. Finally, it is concluded that radio has been a means of inclusion, participation and social transformation, taking years of virtue in relation to the incorporation of processes and people with disability, in some Latin American countries.
