In the university educational context, emotional education emerges as a crucial factor for the comprehensive development of students and the shaping of the school climate. This article explores the role of emotional education in the comprehensive development of university students and its impact on the school climate, using a scoping review approach. Through a comprehensive analysis of existing literature, the main trends, challenges, and opportunities in the implementation of emotional education programs in universities are identified. The study highlights the interrelationship between emotional education and the school climate, emphasizing how a positive academic environment facilitates the emotional development of students, which in turn enhances their overall well-being and their abilities to manage life projects. In addition, the barriers
and challenges faced by emotional education in the university context are discussed, such as institutional awareness and the need for specialized resources. This work provides a comprehensive insight that can guide future research and education policies aimed at improving emotional education and the school climate, key elements for the academic and personal success of university students.
